Virgin Mary and Christ Child -- Virgin Mary, crowned, nimbed, sits on bench covered with fabric and with elaborate architectural back, right hand holding flower, left hand holding Christ child, rayed cross as nimbus, seated on the Virgin's lap. They are flanked by angels, one playing harp, one playing miniature harpsichord. In background, carved decoration depicts winged putti holding garlands.
At bottom of miniature, three winged putti, two holding up text block and scroll inscribed SI L'AVIENT SI L'AVIENT AR, one playing rebec.
