Miniature:
David and Bathsheba: Bathsheba bathing -- In front of tall fountain, Bathsheba, nude, wearing necklace (?) stands in small pool. On ground outside of pool is pile of clothing (?). In background, is hedge or row of trees bearing fruit. At right in margin, David, crowned, stands in window with draped sill.
Margin, left:
In two niches stand two men, one wearing hood and, one wearing hat, gesturing with both hands, both looking toward David.
Margin, right:
Upper, David as described above. Lower, man or youth in landscape.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament.
