Man, wearing fur-trimmed hat, with left hand holding scepter, following soldier, wearing helmet and mail and raising sword behind another man, possibly prophet, wearing pointed hat, the latter beneath hand of God, emerging from arc of Heaven, in rays. Margins decorated with strewn border of flowers including forget-me-not, pink, and viola and inhabited by two moths. Miniature at beginning of None in Short Hours of the Holy Spirit.
