Livres des Merveilles du Monde: Scene, Judea -- Angel, lowers arms and self toward pool of water in which is man, wearing drawers, crossing left hand on breast. To right, among group of men, two wearing hats or hoods, the foremost with right hand holds rosary and raises left hand, behind group of two bearded men, kneeling, the one on right with joined hands raised. Scene in hilly landscape with river in foreground, with buildings of church and castle in background. Initial I of Iudee decorated with foliate ornament.
