Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Archangel Gabriel, arms crossed before breast, kneels before Virgin Mary, hands raised, seated before bench on which sits open book propped up on closed book. Above Gabriel, dove of Holy Ghost flies on rays of light toward the Virgin.
Scene set within room with barrel vault supported by columns with Corinthian capitals.
At top of miniature, two winged putti sit on roof of room holding scrolls inscribed SI L'AVIENT AR, also inscribed on entablature (lintel).
Lower edge of room is inscribed with incipit DOMINE LABIA MEA APERIES ET OS MEVM ANVMCIABIT.
At bottom of miniature, beneath room, is scroll inscribed SI L'AVIENT over initials AR.
