Medallion 1:
1) Pilate: washing Hands -- Servant, towel draped over right shoulder, holds gold bowl in right hand and uses left hand to offer towel to Pilate who wipes both hands. Five men flank them in background.
Medallion 2:
2) Christ: Flagellation -- Christ, crossed-nimbus, is bound at wrists to column while two men on either side beat Him with scourge and club.
Scenes against gold backgrounds inside medallions set on diapered grounds within decorated frame.
