Virgin Mary: at Prayer -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, wearing wimpled veil, with joined hands raised, kneels, looking up toward arc of heaven arc of heaven formed by eight busts of red angels and clouds and emerging half-figure of God, wearing miter, raising right hand in blessing and holding cross-surmounted globe in left hand. Scene in landscape with city in background. Framed text block of 3 lines is suspended from tree branch over path with two arbors and foliage in foreground. Trees and foliage forming arch over scene; miniature within architectural frame.
