Left column:
Christ: Entry into Jerusalem --Two apostles, nimbed, one probably Peter, right hand on breast, are behind ass on which rides Christ, crossed nimbus, raising right hand in blessing, holding reins with left hand. Scroll next to His right hand is inscribed O SI (CO)G(NO)UISSES ET TU QUIA UE(NIENT) DI(ES) (Luke 19:42-43, variant). Branches cover the ground, and garment being placed on ground by man at left. Branches also fall from tree in which Zacheus raises pruning knife in right hand. Two men, one with right hand on breast, stand in portal of city gate; third man, holding branch in left hand stands on crenellated parapet above them. The two men are flanked by two scrolls, one inscribed B(E)N(E)D(ICT)U(S) Q(UI) UE(NIT) I(N) N(OMINE) D(OMINI) (Matthew 21:09, Mark 11:10, Luke 19:38) and the other O SA(N)NA I(N) EXCEL(SIS) (Mark 11:10)Right column:
