Catherine of Alexandria, nimbed and crowned, wearing ermine-lined mantle stands on prostrate Maxentius, crowned, holding scimitar with right hand. With right hand, Catherine holds sword to breast of Maxentius, grasping blade of the sword with left hand; she holds spiked wheel with left hand.
Scene in vaulted interior, colonnettes supporting the vault, leaded windows.
