Trinity: God, Man of Sorrows and Dove -- Philip II of Spain, crowned, wearing armor and ermine-lined brocade mantle, kneels with joined hands raised at draped prie-dieu with open book with pseudo inscription and escutcheon with arms of King of Spain, surmounted by a crown. Before him is God, seated, wearing cross-surmounted imperial crown, holding Christ, nimbed, as Man of Sorrows, in his lap. Beside them is dove of Holy Ghost, emanating rays. Clouds of heaven in background.
