Miniature:
Christ: Presentation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, wearing gold necklace, holding nude Christ Child, crossed nimbus, wearing gold necklace, stands next to draped altar opposite Simeon, wearing miter, hands, one draped, extended over the altar. Joseph the Carpenter, holding candle with right hand, stands at end of the altar. Behind Mary, Anna the Prophetess, wearing headdress and wimple, holding basket in which are two doves, stands next to woman, veiled with wimple, holding candle. Man wearing hat stands behind Simeon.
Interior scene with wooden ceiling, and windows.
Vignette:
Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, crossed nimbus, wearing crown of thorns and short diaphanous loincloth, bleeding from wounds, is affixed with three nails to cross. At left Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled with joined (?) hands, looks down toward Mary Magdalen, nimbed, orant, kneeling next to ointment jar, and at foot of the cross, looking up toward Christ. Evangelist John, nimbed, arms crossed on breast stands to right of the cross.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament and inhabited by hindquarters of rabbit disappearing into hole, and rabbit standing next to another hole.
