Initial O enclosing face or mask. Initial E enclosing bust of man. Left and center margins decorated with foliate ornament and gold balls. In center margin man wearing short tunic, one leg bare, holding girdle book with right hand and gesturing with left hand toward text of antiphon in Lauds, feast of Stephen Protomartyr. In left margin, man wearing pink scapular, standing close to gutter, indicating, upward with right hand, text of antiphon in Lauds, feast of Stephen Protomartyr. Pen-flourished initials. Texts of the initials are collect for Sext on 12.26, feast of Stephen Protomartyr, and collect for first Vespers on 12.27, feast of Evangelist John.
