Miniature:
Christ: Presentation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, holds nude Christ Child, nimbed, at draped altar. On other side of altar is Simeon, nimbed, both hands draped. Behind Virgin Mary are prophetess Anna holding basket containing three doves (?), and a woman holding candle. Beside them are Joseph the Carpenter, man wearing hat, both hands raised, and acolyte holding open book.
Scene in church with vaulted ceiling, windows, decorated wall, and draped altar in background; statues in niches with canopies in frame of miniature.
Margin, right:
Christ: among Doctors -- Youthful Christ, nimbed, hands raised, is seated on bench with open book on lap. He is flanked in front by four men, seated on benches, two wearing caps, one wearing hood, three raising right hand.
Scene in room with windows, decorated wall and tile floor.
Margin, lower:
John Baptist: preaching -- John Baptist, nimbed, leaning on rail, preaches to group of three men and two women, all seated. Men wear hats lined with fur; women wear turban type of headdress.
Scene in landscape with trees, and gold rays in blue sky above John Baptist.
Margins decorated with border of floreate and foliate ornament inhabited by birds and monkey.
