Thomasin von Zerclaere: Text, Der Wälsche Gast, Book 03.12 -- Nude man stands with cloth or garment over his head. Above is scroll inscribed DIE EDEL DIE LUGE. Before him are man, kneeling with joined hands raised, possibly holding the cloth and scroll inscribed ZIHEN MIR YME SIN ADEL ABE; personification of Mendacity (?), with hands extended to the cloth, with scroll inscribed DU MAST DEN ADEL LAN; and personification of Inconstancy, standing and gesturing, with scroll inscribed DIE UNSTEDE.
