Christ: Harrowing of Hell -- The foremost of group of souls of men and women, man extends right hand to right hand of Christ, rays as nimbus, wearing short loincloth and cloak, holding cross staff in left hand. He is stepping out of mandorla onto head of devil. In background devil stands behinds rocks; smoke emerges from holes in earth.
Margins decorated with floreate ornament. In lower margin, monogram of initials A and P linked by love knot. Text, Hours of the Virgin.
