Border composed of bands of foliate ornament inhabited by numerous grotesques, including hybrid men, with two in pairs, one tonsured, one wearing armor, and one winged. In lower margin are two busts of women, veiled.
Bands interrupted by quatrefoils with geometric decoration. In quatrefoil in top margin is escutcheon with Tiptoft (?) or Botetourt (?) arms (or a saltire engrailed sable).
Small initials with foliate ornament.
Square musical notation on four-line staves.
