Christ: Flagellation -- Christ, with crossed rayed nimbus, wearing short loin cloth, stands as His hands are bound behind column by one of two tormentors. The other tormenter stands to left, holding switches in both hands. Scourge on ground. Scene in decorated initial T, with ascender formed by column to which Christ is bound.
Floreate margins inhabited by birds and putti, including one squatting, with back turned, in top margin; six cavorting in and around ornate tub in right margin; one holding bowl and one seated astride barrel, drinking (?) from siphon, in lower right corner; and four climbing on and around vase, and one seated, holding bowl, all in lower margin.
