Psalm 087 (Vulg., 086):
Christ: Transfiguration -- Appearing amid clouds, half-figures of Elias, holding scroll, and Moses, horned, holding Tables of the Law, flank Christ, appearing amid rays of light on cloud, above mountain. He raises His right hand in blessing and holds globe, surmounted by cross, in left hand.
Below, Evangelist John, nimbed, kneels with arms folded across breast and looks up. Apostles Peter and James Major, both nimbed and kneeling on one knee, look up and raise right arms over heads. In background is landscape with river, or lake, and city.
