Left column:
Christ: confounding Soldiers -- Christ, crossed nimbus, hands crossed on breast, with scroll inscribed QUEM QUERITIS (John 18:07) next to head, is surrounded by soldiers wearing helmets and armor, one holding halberd, two (?) holding swords, three (?) holding spears, one holding shield and one holding lantern. Two scrolls next to soldiers, are inscribed IH(ESU)M NAZARENUM.
Caption, IHC P(RO)STRAUIT OM(N)ES HOSTES SUOS UNO UERBO, is inscribed above scene.
Right column:
Samson: slaying Philistines -- Samson, raises right hand holding jawbone. At, and under, his feet are soldiers, wearing helmets and armor, some holding swords, halberd, axe, or spears.
Caption, SAMPSON STRAUIT MILLE UIROS CUM MANDIBULA ASINI, is inscribed above scene.
