Christ: in Gethsemane -- Christ, crossed nimbus, with joined hands, kneels before rocky mound, on which is chalice. Three apostles as half-figures, nimbed, sleep in foreground. Figures with torches stand at gate in fence in background (Christ: Betrayal, Arrival in Garden). Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including thistle, daisy, strawberry, bladder cherry, and viola, and inhabited by bird and fantastic bird. Text is invitatory for Matins on Passion Sunday.
