Christ: Harrowing of Hell -- Christ, cross-nimbed, partially draped, bleeding from wounds in hands, side, and feet, in right hand he holds cross-inscribed, bannered cross staff with which he transfixes bestial devil. With his left hand he grasps hands of nude Adam, behind which is group of nude men and women amid flames within hellmouth, with door on ground. Scene in landscape setting.
In upper margin is inscription DAUID HIJ HEEFT UERNIELT DIE METALEN POERTEN ENDE OIC GEBROKEN DIE YSEREN GRENDELEN
