Medallion 1:
1) Christ: Resurrection -- Christ, crossed nimbus, cross-staff held in left hand, right hand raised in blessing, rises from sarcophagus on which sits angel with hands extended toward Christ. Two soldiers in chain mail sleep at base of the sarcophagus.
Medallion 2:
2) Holy Women: at Sepulcher -- Angel, nimbed, with palm branch in right hand, pointing with left hand to empty sarcophagus, sits facing three Holy Women, nimbed, veiled, two holding jars. Two soldiers sleep at base of the sarcophagus.
Scenes against gold backgrounds inside medallions set on diapered grounds within decorated frame.
