Miniature, column, left: Archbishop, nimbed, mitered, wearing cope fastened with morse, with right hand holding cross-staff and with left hand holding open book; against patterned background. Miniature at beginning of Chapter for Feast of a Confessor Bishop. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, including strawberry, inhabited by two prophets, wearing hats, emerging from clouds, holding scrolls inscribed FILII H(OM)I(NE)M and ENGE SERUE (right).
