Half figure of Christ, cross-nimbed, wearing white mantle, with right hand raised and with left hand holding cross-surmounted globe; against gold background. Within initial D at beginning of Lauds, Hours of the Virgin. Initial U enclosing pair of crossed scourges at beginning of Hymn, Vere gratia plena es et gloriosa permanes ... Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, inhabited by half figures of at least eight figures, some possibly soldiers, wearing helmets or holding shields, emerging out of foliate buds.
