1) Anna: Annunciation -- Angel, with both hands extended, toward extended hands of Anna, veiled with wimple, wearing belted purse; both before building of two towers, against gold sky. Scene within initial D at beginning of Terce, Hours of the Virgin. 2) Joachim and Anna: at Golden Gate -- Anna, veiled with wimple, embracing Joachim, wearing hat and mantle, both beneath arch of crenellated Golden Gate. In background right, shepherd, with left hand on pedum, amid flock of sheep in hilly landscape, windmill and with buildings visible in far distance. Scene within initial D at beginning of Sext, Hours of the Virgin. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration.
