Francis of Assisi: preaching to the Birds -- Francis of Assisi, decorated nimbus, tonsured, stigmata visible, preaches to six birds in branches of tree, including owl, and three cranes at base of tree. Beside him, Leo of Assisi, tonsured, seated on ground, holds book with one strap in left hand and rests head in right hand.
Scene enclosed in architectural setting composed of trefoil arch surmounted by building structures and two turrets.
SC FRANCISCVS is written in gold letters in upper border of decorated frame.
