Virgin Mary: Coronation -- Virgin Mary, rayed nimbus, crowned, with joined hands kneels before Christ, rays as cross nimbus, wearing imperial crown, raising right hand in gesture of blessing, holding scepter with left hand, seated on throne with canopy. They are surrounded by angels wearing fillets, one holding hem of cloak worn by Mary, one with right hand extended to her crown, six playing musicial instruments, including portative organ, harp, lute, straight trumpet, S-shaped trumpet and shawm.
All on cloud, studded with stars above landscape with city wall, body of water with boats and ships, figures, hills and trees.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including thistle and strawberries, and inhabited by woman wearing hennin, seated on ground playing harp, and half-figure of angel wearing fillet emerging from flower, playing lute.
