Christ: Miracle of raising Lazarus -- Christ, crossed nimbus as rays, with right hand raised in blessing before Lazarus, partly draped in cloth, with joined hands raised, and standing up in grave, both surrounded by two onlookers, one wearing Jew’s hat, the other behind him, both raising draped right hands to their faces, possibly Apostles Peter, tonsured, kneeling, possibly James, and Evangelist John, and possibly Mary or Martha, wearing turban-like headgear, also kneeling with joined hands raised. Scene before castle-like building and trees. Margins decorated with borders of strewn flowers including wild rose, currant, and acorn, and scattered bones and three skulls. Miniature facing the beginning of Office of the Dead.
