Miniature:
Virgin Mary: Coronation -- Christ, crossed nimbus and crowned, raising right hand in blessing and holding cross-surmounted globe with left hand, is seated on throne with architectural canopy on platform. He looks toward Virgin Mary, nimbed, with joined hands, kneeling as hovering angel places crown on her head. Of four flanking angels, one holds her mantle, one has joined hands, and one holds scroll with pseudo-inscription. Another angel sits in foreground playing harp.
Scene in room, possibly church, with decorated wall, windows and tile floor.
Margin, right:
Virgin Mary: Assumption -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and crowned, with joined hands, amid rays in mandorla, is borne aloft by five angels.
Margin, lower:
Virgin Mary: Death -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, with joined hands, reclines on draped bed. Surrounding the bed are eleven apostles, all nimbed, four with joined hands, two seated, reading books. Peter (?) stands near her head, raising aspergil (?) with right hand and holding situla with left hand.
Margins decorated with border of floreate and foliate ornament including grapes and inhabited by two birds, one attacked by dragon.
