David: communicating with God -- Man, possibly Nathan, wearing hat, points up with left hand toward God, in mandorla, emanating rays, with right hand raised in blessing. Beside Nathan (?), David, with joined hands raised, kneels on floor before canopied throne and beside crown and harp on floor. In background is marble-paneled wall with pseudo-inscription and distant landscape with city and hills.
Miniature enclosed by gold frame.
