Satan, with flames behind three horns above goat-like ears, with open mouth, revealing two fangs, with abdomen as Hell Mouth enclosing heads of the Damned, holds scepter in left hand and sits on three-legged stool, with feet as hooves, one cloven. He is surrounded by nude Damned, many gaping, and by devils, some horned, some baring fangs, some winged, some carrying instruments, including maces, and one pouring molten lead from vessel on the Damned wearing chains. In foreground, three Damned hang over chain, beneath which stands bull-like creature, holding spear, and others of the Damned (only upper part of bodies visible) are in flames. Miniature within architectural frame of two columns supporting pediment.
