Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, with crossed nimbus, wearing short loin cloth and crown of thorns, bleeding from wounds, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus inscribed INRI. Flanking the cross are Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, with joined hands raised, and Evangelist John, nimbed, with right hand raised and holding book in left hand. Scene in landscape with ground strewn with skulls and bones, trees, and sky with stars.
Margins with ivy-rinceaux, vinescroll, and floreate ornament, with foliate baguettes framing miniature and textblock.
