Ghislain of Mons as abbot, nimbed, tonsured, wearing habit, holding crozier, stands with open, inscribed book before buildings (of the abbey ?).
Margins decorated with border of floral and foliate ornament inhabited by hybrid woman with snail's body, possibly mermaid, combs hair with right hand and holds mirror in left hand and by bird with wings spread.
