Evangelist John, nimbed, standing with head turned back, gazes toward Dove of Holy Ghost descending in rays issued from Hand of God emerging from arc of heaven. To left, Prochoros of Antioch (fragmentary) sits on bench, with right hand writing incipit of John 1:1 in book in left hand.
