Livres des Merveilles du Monde: Scene, Macedonia -- Among two men climbing grassy mountain, one, wearing hat, partly kneels, with joined hands raised, wearing scimitar tied to belt, and the other holds hat with right hand and extends left hand to altar from which issues flames. Scene in landscape with four large mountains and trees. Initial M of Macedonie decorated with foliate ornament. Miniature for Livre de Merveilles du Monde for Macedonia (Greece).
