Christ: Flight into Egypt, Miracle of Cornfield -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, holding swaddled Christ Child, suckling at her right breast, is seated sideways on ass. Rope from bridle (?) of ass leads to right arm of Joseph the Carpenter, wearing hat with brim, carrying draped staff over his left shoulder, his back turned. They walk along side of field of grain or corn; on other side of the field, group of soldiers confronts farmer wearing hat, holding front of tunic as pouch.
Scene in landscape with tree, and with hill surmounted by castle in distance. Miniature enclosed in architectural frame probably surmounted by two putti, only partially visible because of page trimming.
