Confessio Amantis: Scene, Vulcan capturing Mars and Venus -- Vulcan, wearing tall brimless hat and tunic, holding chain with both hands, stands next to draped canopy bed on platform in which Mars, wearing tall brimless hat, and Venus, wearing headdress, both nude, recline with heads on cushion, confined by chain attached to platform on side opposite Vulcan.
