Virgin Mary: Coronation, Virgin kneeling -- Hovering half-figure of angel, nimbus as rays, holds crown over nimbed head of Virgin Mary, with joined hands raised, kneeling before God, cross-nimbed, seated on canopied throne, raising right hand in blessing and holding globe with left hand. Scene in room with patterned wall and tiled floor. Margin, right: Peacock. Margin, lower: Bird, possibly dove or pigeon. Margins decorated with foliate and floreate ornament, including irises, violas, cornflowers and columbines. Text is Antiphon from 1st Vespers beginning the Hours of the Virgin, taken from the Song of Songs.
