Virgin Mary and Christ Child -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, wearing fillet, holding ball of string (?) in left hand, sits on throne with cloth of honor and holds in her lap nude Christ Child, kneeling, holding string that extends from the ball of string to dove at left of throne, all beneath decorated tent-like canopy held open by two angels, wearing cross-surmounted fillets. In upper corners are two additional angels.
Miniature enclosed by frame inscribed OMNES UIRTUS TE DECORAT OMNES SANCTUS TE HONORAT IN CELESTI PATR[IA] (sic).
Amid foliate ornament in margins are four angel muscians, all kneeling, one each playing portative organ, dulcimer, fiddle, and gittern.
Miniature and ornament executed in grisaille and gold tones with color accents.
