Virgin Mary: Death -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, lies in bed, both hands holding candle given to her by apostle, also holding palm branch in his right hand. Second apostle holds open book and candle. Remaining nine apostles surround the bed.
At bottom of miniature, two winged putti hold up textblock and scroll inscribed RL CHASTE VIE LOVE.
