Virgin Mary: Infancy, Instruction -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, her right hand grasped by right hand of Anna, nimbed and veiled, holding open book on her lap with left hand, seated on draped throne. In background two other youthful females, nimbed, sit on ground with open books on their laps. Interior scene, in church, canopied bishop’s throne or stall in background, window flanked by two statues, one female, with five globes between them; doorway surmounted by cross below ogee arch. Text at bottom of miniature begins Suffrage to Anna.
