Miniature:
Scene, Liturgical: Obsequies -- In foreground, three mourners stand before draped bier surrounded by four candles. On far side of the bier, three clerics, tonsured, stand at lecturn, two with heads lifted, mouths open, one back-turned. (Scene, Liturgical: Chanting) The clerics face apse or chapel where priest, tonsured, orant, wearing chasuable, stands before draped altar, behind which is reredos on which is crucifixion scene with cross flanked by two figures. (Scene, Liturgical: Celebration of Mass)
Vignette:
Christ: Miracle of raising Lazarus -- Christ, crossed nimbus, right hand in gesture of blessing, extends left hand to Lazarus, nude body draped, standing in grave. They are flanked by apostle, nimbed, man wearing hat and hood, Mary and Martha, both veiled with wimple, one with joined hands.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including strawberries and inhabited by man wearing hat, emerging from foliage, holding handbell in each hand.
