In initial D, Apostle Barnabas, nimbed, holding open book with both hands, standing next to fire.
In initial S are Apostles Peter, holding key in right hand and book in left hand, possibly Paul, holding sword with left hand, and Andrew holding saltire cross. All are nimbed. Behind them are other Apostles, partially visible, including on holding palm.
Initials on gold backgrounds and decorated with ornament of rinceaux.
