Psalm 028 (Vulg., 027) -- Initial A of Afferte enclosing winged hybrid animal against gold background; the initial’s ascender extending across left, upper, and right margins, terminating in head of bishop, wearing cross-inscribed miter with infulae; and descender extending across left, lower, and right margins terminating in head of animal, the whole perched on by collared dog as musician, with left hand playing horn and with right hand ringing bell.
