Christ: before Pilate, and Pilate: washing Hands -- Five men, including two wearing hats and one soldier, wearing armor, with sword sheathed at waist, stand behind Christ, with crossed nimbus, standing before Pilate, wearing hat, seated on throne, washing his hands with basin and pitcher held by young servant, kneeling beside the throne. Scene in room with barrel vault, leaded-glass windows, and distant buildings visible through doorways.
Margins with floreate and vinescroll ornament, inhabited in left margin by two half-figures of men, one wearing crown and facing away, and the other wearing hat, gesturing. In lower margin is a third man, as half-figure, wearing hat, with right hand raised.
