Christ: Flight into Egypt and Christ: Flight into Egypt, Miracle of Cornfield -- In foreground, Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, cradling swaddled Christ Child, nimbed, is seated sideways on ass (donkey), displaying horseshoe on front left hoof. Joseph the Carpenter, wearing hat, carrying draped crutch over left shoulder, and holding reins of ass, walks at its head, looking back toward Virgin Mary and Christ Child.
In background at left, man, standing next to field of grain is confronted by soldiers carrying spears. At right, man, wearing hat, with animal, possibly dog, approaches house with chimney.
