Within initial D, Dominic of Bologna, rays as nimbus, tonsured, holding processional cross with right hand and book with left hand, standing on dragon. Background of low wall below blue wall decorated with gold scrollwork.

Within initial S, Sixtus II, wearing cross surmounted, triple-crowned tiara, gloves, and chasuble, raises right hand in blessing, and holds processional cross with left hand. He is flanked by Felicissimus of Rome and Agapitus, one with hands raised, the other tonsured, raising right hand and holding book with left hand. All have rays as nimbus. Red background decorated with gold ornament.
