Virgin Mary: Death -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled with wimple, reclines on draped bed, eyes shut, head on pillow. The bed is surrounded by 12 (?) apostles, nimbed, evangelist John holding aspergil; Peter extending candle in right hand to right hand of Mary; one with hands crossed on breast; one holding book; one kneeling with joined hands; and one, head draped, seated holding open book on lap.
Virgin Mary: Assumption -- Above, Virgin Mary, nimbed and crowned, with joined hands is represented again next to scroll inscribed ... TE ECCE UENIO AD TE. She is flanked and lifted by four angels. Above her, bust of God, crossed nimbus, raising right hand and holding tripartite globe with left hand, appears in arc Heaven next to scroll inscribed UENI DILECTE MI IN THRONUM MEUM.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament. Two scrolls inscribed MARIA UIRGO ASSUMPTA E(ST) AD ETHEREU(M) THALANIU(M) I(N) QUO REX REGU(M) STELLATO SEDIT SOLIO; and QUE EST ISTA Q(UE) ASCENDIT Q(UA)SI AURORA (CON)SURGE(N) UT LUNA ET SICUT DIES UERNI C(IR)C(UM) DABA(N)T EA(M) FLORES ROSARU(M).
