Miltiades of Rome, and Sylvester of Rome: establishing Sexagesima -- Miltiades of Rome, nimbed, wearing triple-crowned tiara, and Sylvester of Rome, nimbed, wearing cap, are seated at writing desk with two compartments. Each figure writes with pen and scraper on scroll. Open book surmounts book stand attached to desk. Behind them is patternend hanging. To right, tonsured male figure, seated, writes with pen on scroll. Before him, on table, is open, inscribed book.
To left, open, inscribed, book, in cloth, flanked by closed book and ink pot with quill flank, is on table with post with pegs at the top from which book hangs. Above table is window in which is jar with lid.
