Miniature:
Pentecost -- Below canopy, Virgin Mary, nimbed, kneeling, looks toward book on prie-dieu. At right are twelve Apostles, nimbed, kneeling (?), Peter (?) with arms crossed on breast, Evangelist John with hands raised, others with joined hands, some only nimbus visible. Dove of Holy Ghost hovers amid rays above them.
Lower Margin:
Christ: Baptism -- Nude Christ, rays as cross nimbus, right hand raised in blessing, left hand covering himself, stands in stream. On left bank, angel holds garment; on right bank John Baptist, nimbed, holds basin in raised right hand.
